Over the past few months we have reflected extensively on Michelle’s legacy and how we can honor her and make a difference in our community. Our Michelle was raised with an emphasis on the importance of education. She believed in that as she went on to earn her Master’s Degree and ultimately her CPA after graduating from Michigan State. She encouraged everyone to challenge themselves so as to reach their goals. From stories shared by her friends and coworkers, we are told she was an excellent mentor and always lended her support to others to further their education. It is our intent, with your support, to take the proceeds from the annual Tigergate events and create a MSU School of Business scholarship in Michelle’s name. This would be awarded annually at their awards banquet forum. In addition to the investment in the future of our recipient, more importantly, Michelle’s story will continue to inspire and drive future Spartans to believe that anything is possible through hard work and belief in yourself. In this manner, we can continue to support her ideologies.
